As a Ka-Globe developer, you will get to work in different settings that will enhance your overall technical skills from development to designing contributing to your professional growth.
The development squads and tribes in Globe aim to keep up with the ever-evolving technology from productizing an application up to heavily customizing them for internal use.

Aside from the generic Frontend/Backend development you will also get the chance to showcase your skills in innovating certain operational aspects of maintain an application by developing scripts that elevates the tedious tasks we do that’s if you want to be the jack-of-all-trades but hey! we don’t discriminate against those who are looking to specialize in certain technology aspects, we can create a specific path just for you!
As a Software Development Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our development efforts.
Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance cloud applications.
  
  
• Collaborate with an elite squad of engineers and product gurus to deliver sleek, scalable, and secure APIs and services.
  
  
• Lead the charge on CI/CD pipelines, automating everything from testing to deployments.
  
  
• Flex your cloud muscles with AWS or Google Cloud, and craft solutions that can handle anything we throw at them.
  
  
• Dive into Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and manage containerized apps like a pro.
  
  
• Own your code, from brainstorming to production, with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
  
  

️ What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in programming.
  
  
• Code Savvy: You’re fluent in any of these programming languages - Node.js, Python, Java, or Typescript and can sling code that’s as elegant as it is efficient.
  
  
• Cloud Powerhouse: You’ve got hands-on experience with either AWS or Google Cloud and can navigate the cloud like a native.
  
  
• Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, working alongside fellow engineers to solve tough problems.
  
  
• Quality-First Mindset: You care about code quality, testing, and delivering the best possible product every time.
  
  

Bonus Points For

• DevOps Guru: CI/CD, automation, and containerization (hello, Docker!) are second nature to you.
  
  
• Experience building or working with microservices—if you’ve designed a distributed system, we want to hear about it!
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  
  
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
  
  
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
